Lewis Paul Mighty x   Leave a comment

Lewis mighty,  a young boy from Derby  was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma cancer in October 2008 when he was just 3 years of age. Stage 4 is considered as untreatable in Europe, however, there is an opportunity to send Lewis to the Memorial -Sloan Kettering Cancer Clinic in New York, America for immunotherapy treatment, without this treatment he only has a 10 to 20% chance of survival over the next two years. If he is able to get the treatment abroad his chance goes up to around 70%.  One huge catch though, before Lewis is able to receive this life-saving treatment, £300,000 must be raised. A scary amount!

Although Lewis has been undergoing intensive treatment since his diagnosis his spirit and courage continues to shine through and he is an inspiration to those who meet him!

Lewis has always been like many other children! A happy, healthy little boy who is loved by many. He has a sister Leah who is 12 and a brother Morgan who is 10.

Lewis is a big WWE Wresting fan – this must be where he gets his energy and strength from!

Lewis is a very brave and happy little boy who deserves every chance to live.

So if you would like to find out more about lewis why not visit his site www.lewismightyfund.org.uk  where you can read more about his courage and what he is aiming for.  Last time i looked the funds where at around £200 thousand so getting there which is fantastic, so please if you can sponsor anything,  whatever you can afford, every penny counts!

One idea I had was to pull in all the coppers my family had saved and that raised around £60 between us, which really shows how much can be just lying around.
